Sainsbury’s Magazine Work Experience

During September I spent 3 weeks at Sainsbury’s Magazine working with the design team. I helped them out with their biggest every Christmas issue. I kept the board and dummy up to date as well as designing pages to be printed in the issue. The team very extremely friendly and helpful and I learnt a great deal. Fingers crossed I can work with them again same time next year!

Cosmopolitan Work Experience

Over the summer I spent 4 weeks at Cosmopolitan Magazine. I worked with the design team and they set me a huge selection of pages to design. I designed a range of spreads and single pages, covering fashion, beauty and main features. I built up a huge portfolio of work in such a short time and learnt so much about the industry. I really hope to gain more experience and eventually find a job as a junior designer!

The FdA DGC Show 2011, showcasing work of second and third years. I had a few pieces on show as well as one my my project PDFs printed in the reading section. 

Lots of amazing work from all the students involved, looking forward to the show next year!
